"I’m putting together an e-commerce web application on Ruby on Rails 8 and need solid, production-ready code for two core areas:

• Shopping cart – add / update / remove items, persist the cart across sessions, and generate order summaries ready for a checkout flow.
• Storefront editor – a simple, in-browser interface that lets a merchant rearrange sections, edit copy, insert predefined placeholders, swap images and make replacements with liquid without touching code.

The project already has a Rails 8 skeleton; you’ll be extending it, wiring up models, controllers, Hotwire-enabled views, and RSpec tests. Clean, idiomatic Ruby, clear commits, and lightweight documentation are essential so I can keep building on top of your work.

- Bitbucket repo branch with the updated Rails 8 codebase
- Fully functional shopping cart logic and views
- Storefront editor screens integrated into the admin area
- Short README explaining setup, key decisions, and how to extend
