Project description:
"My current SQL Server Reporting Services reports look tidy on-screen, yet the moment they are exported or printed as PDF the layout drifts—margins creep, objects overlap, and the body content no longer lines up the way it should. I need every one of those inconsistencies eliminated and a short write-up that explains exactly what you changed so I can repeat the process on other reports.
Scope of the job
• Focus first on body content; that is where the misalignment is most obvious. If a header, footer, image, or chart also needs a nudge while you are in there, please fix it as well so the whole report lands pixel-perfect on the page.
• I have not locked the report to A4, Letter, or Legal yet. Optimise layout for standard A4, and note in your documentation how to adjust for other sizes if required.
• The solution must hold together in both the SSRS preview window and the exported PDF generated via the built-in PDF renderer.
Deliverables
• Corrected .rdl file(s) ready for deployment
• A sample PDF that proves every page prints cleanly
• A concise step-by-step document (Word or PDF) outlining what you modified: properties, margins, textbox paddings, tablix settings, page breaks, interactive size tweaks, etc.
I work in Visual Studio 2019 with SQL Server 2017, so please test in a comparable environment or note any version-specific settings if you use a newer build. If anything is unclear, feel free to ask for an RDL snippet or screenshot before you start so we can avoid rework." (client-provided description)
