Project description:
"I’m building a multi-page web application and want an experienced JavaScript front-end developer to take charge of the entire authentication layer. The back-end API is already in place; what I need is the UI and client-side logic that lets users register, sign in, stay signed in across pages, and be smoothly redirected to protected routes when their session is valid.
You’ll work with vanilla JS or a modern framework of your choice (React, Vue, or similar), along with HTML5 and CSS3, to create clean, responsive pages that match the project’s existing style guide. Cross-browser support and WCAG-friendly markup are important, so please keep accessibility in mind.
Key scope points
• Build the full front-end flow for user authentication (registration, login, logout, password reset, error handling, session validation).
• Consume REST endpoints I’ll supply; handle tokens in local storage or cookies, whichever best fits the architecture.
• Add basic navigation guards so non-authenticated users cannot reach protected pages.
• Provide concise setup instructions and comments so I can extend the UI myself later on.
Deliverables I will review
– Source code pushed to my Git repository
– A brief README covering build steps and environment variables
– A demo link or recorded walkthrough showing the auth flow working end-to-end
If you’ve recently shipped an MPA with a similar login experience, share a link or repo snippet so I can see your approach. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right fit and expect quick, transparent communication during the build." (client-provided description)
