"WordPress Plugin Developer (Laravel API Integration)

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build a custom plugin that connects WordPress Multisite (WPMS) with a Laravel backend.

Project Overview

Our Laravel application stores user-specific content in a custom database and exposes that data through a REST API. Each user has their own set of content managed entirely within Laravel.

We need a WordPress plugin that:

Pulls user content from the Laravel API

Displays the content on the corresponding user’s WP Multisite subdomain

Does not save or duplicate any data in the WordPress database

Loads content dynamically based on the subdomain being accessed

Key Requirements

Strong experience developing custom WordPress plugins

Familiar with WordPress Multisite (WPMS) architecture

Ability to integrate and authenticate with external APIs (Laravel preferred)

Strong understanding of PHP, WP hooks, shortcodes, and template rendering

Clean, secure coding practices

Responsibilities

Build a WP plugin that identifies the current multisite subdomain user

Fetch user-specific content from the Laravel API

Render content dynamically on the WordPress front-end

Ensure no Laravel data is stored in the WP database

Provide documentation and basic configuration options

Nice to Have

Experience with Laravel or at least with its API structure

Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, or Laravel Sanctum authentication

Experience with headless/hybrid architectures
