"I run an established WordPress site that lives on Microsoft Azure App Service backed by a MySQL Flexible Server. I’m looking to hand the routine upkeep and some incremental improvements to a developer who already feels at home inside both WordPress and the Azure portal.

Here’s what I need handled right away:
• Security & backups – keep core, themes, and plugins patched, harden the install, and configure automated, off-site backups with easy restores.
• New features – add a couple of lightweight enhancements (a custom post type and a small UI tweak are first on the list). I’ll provide full specs once we open the project.
• Speed tuning – profile load times, squash slow queries, tighten caching, and integrate any Azure CDN or image-optimization tweaks needed to push our PageSpeed/GTmetrix scores into the green.

The environment is version-controlled in Git, and I’d like all changes staged and documented with a clear rollback plan. Familiarity with Azure CLI, Application Insights, SSL management, and WP-CLI will make everything smoother.
