"I need a working “Virtual Café” built on a true client-server architecture.

Each client application will play the role of a Customer who wants to order tea or coffee. The server application will play the role of the café's virtual Barista, who processes the orders, prepares tea and coffee, and delivers orders back to the customers.

To present your implemented system via a pre-recorded video report, presented in the style of a standup session.
At minimum, the server must expose clean, well-documented endpoints for the core café logic—menu retrieval, order submission, live order status, and any real-time interactions the front end will require—while persisting data in a relational or document database of your choice.

On the client side, I want a streamlined interface that demonstrates the key journey from browsing the menu to receiving confirmation that an order has been accepted by the server. A responsive web app is my first preference, yet I am open to your suggestions on additional clients (mobile, desktop) if you can keep them loosely coupled through the same API.

Code quality matters as much as functionality. Please structure the project so each layer—data, business logic, transport, and UI—can evolve independently. A concise README with setup instructions, schema details, and a short usage guide is part of the deliverable.

Acceptance criteria
• Server runs locally via one command and responds with JSON.
• Client consumes those endpoints and walks through a full order flow without manual database tweaks.
• Clear instructions let me deploy both layers on my own machine in under 10 minutes.

Feel free to recommend the tech stack you believe best balances speed, scalability, and maintainability; Node.js/Express, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, or similar back-end frameworks are all acceptable so long as they remain standard and well-supported.
