"I need a lightweight Joomla 6 plugin, written for PHP 8.3, that lets me embed two images anywhere on a page and treats each click on either image as a “like.” The moment a visitor clicks, the corresponding counter beneath that image should increment instantly—no page refresh—so an AJAX call or similar real-time technique will be required.

The click totals must be stored in the database to survive cache clears and continue counting over time, and the plugin settings should let me reset counts from the admin area if needed.
