"I run a young SaaS startup and need an experienced Software Delivery Manager who can step in quickly and keep our release engine running smoothly. Your core focus will be three things: keeping the overall project timeline realistic and up to date, acting as the glue between engineering, product, design and customer-success, and protecting product quality through organised testing and defect triage.

We already work in two-week sprints and follow Scrum ceremonies, so you’ll be expected to drive sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives, using familiar tools like Jira, Confluence and any lightweight test-management platform you prefer. Beyond that, I’ll count on you to:

• Maintain an always-current roadmap and weekly burn-down reports
• Surface risks early, propose mitigation and escalate only when genuinely necessary
• Coordinate feature branch testing, regression sweeps and release-readiness sign-off
• Gather input from all stakeholders so hand-offs happen without surprises

Deliverables I’ll use to confirm success:
1. A sprint plan and backlog groomed for the next two iterations
2. A consolidated cross-team timeline that everyone can reference
3. A release checklist with pass/fail results for each build
