"I need a cross-platform mobile app that helps farmers and hobby growers discover the best seed varieties for their local conditions. The project targets both iOS and Android, so a single codebase with native-feeling performance (Flutter, React Native or similar) makes sense, but I’m open to your suggestion.

Core workflow
• On launch, the app detects or allows the user to set their current location.
• It then returns seed varieties proven to perform well in that climate and soil profile, presented as concise text accompanied by clear, high-resolution images.
• Users can drill down for cultivation notes, optimal planting windows, and supplier links.

Essential feature
Location-based recommendations are the must-have. If you can layer in a simple offline cache for areas with poor connectivity, even better. Search and ratings are not in scope for this first release but I’d like the architecture to leave room for them.

Data handling
I will supply an initial CSV and image set; you can propose the most efficient way to seed that into the app (local JSON, lightweight backend, or embedded database). The data must be easy for me to update without a full app re-build.

Deliverables
– iOS and Android builds ready for TestFlight / Play Console internal testing
– Source code and brief setup documentation
– A short video walkthrough showing the location flow and seed display
