"I already have a complete Java-based desktop attendance system; the full source code will be in your hands as soon as we start. Two concrete items need immediate attention:

• Face recognition is wired in but refuses to run reliably at launch. I need it fully debugged so the camera opens, all required models load, and every enrolled face is matched with 100 % consistency before the main window appears.

• Right after a student’s attendance is recorded, an SMS must reach the parent automatically via Fast2SMS. The Fast2SMS account is ready, so your job is to call their REST API, handle any response codes, and log delivery status inside the app.

Once you’re done I should be able to launch the application, scan a face, watch the record update, and see the confirmation message hit my phone within seconds—no manual clicks, no delays. Source is Maven-based with a simple Swing UI; you’re free to refactor but please avoid breaking existing screens. Provide the updated project, a brief “how to run” note, and any new libraries you add (jar or dependency line)." (client-provided description)
