"I want to bring Marrow to life as an Android-only social media app whose first release centres on an engaging, scrollable news feed. Users should be able to sign up or log in, browse a continuously updated feed, like or bookmark posts, and see fresh content without noticeable lag. A clean Material Design interface and smooth, native Kotlin code are essential so the app feels modern and responsive right out of the gate.

Core scope
• Android build written in Kotlin (Java acceptable if strongly preferred)
• Secure user authentication (email or phone)
• Real-time or near-real-time news-feed retrieval with basic interactions (like, comment counter, share)
• Simple profile stub (avatar, display name) purely to power the feed
• RESTful API integration—use dummy endpoints now; I will swap in production URLs later
• Cloud-ready database structure sketched in the code comments (Firebase or your recommended equivalent)
• Clean architecture, clear documentation, and full source code in a Git repo

Acceptance criteria
1. An installable APK that runs on Android 10+.
2. All listed feed functions operate without crashes.
3. Codebase is organised, commented, and builds with no errors in Android Studio.
