"Payments on my WordPress site reach the Razorpay window but fail at the final checkout step, and the recurring-payment flow is no longer triggering new invoices. The problems began right after I tweaked a few theme functions and custom settings, so the fault is almost certainly in the recent code changes rather than in Razorpay itself.

Here’s what has to happen next:

• Trace the exact point in the Razorpay-WooCommerce handshake where the transaction drops.
• Patch or roll back the affected code so one-time payments complete and the existing subscription module (Razorpay Subscriptions) starts billing again.
• Test in both sandbox and live mode, confirming successful webhooks and order status updates inside WooCommerce.
