"I’m looking for a seasoned Shopify developer who can dive straight into my theme and resolve two high-priority areas: the cart page and the payment page.

On the cart page, quantity updates refuse to stick and a few layout elements have drifted off brand. I need those quantity controls working flawlessly and the styling brought back in line with the rest of the site.

On the payment page, orders stall because the payment never finishes processing, and several form fields skip validation altogether. I want every major gateway to complete without errors and all required inputs to be validated in real time.

You’ll be working inside a modern, custom theme that leans heavily on JavaScript and leverages Shopify’s GraphQL Storefront API, so real-world experience with both is essential. Liquid tweaks alone won’t cut it here—this job calls for a strong grasp of front-end scripting and Shopify’s newer data layer.

Deliverables (all must be met)
• Cart quantity controls update totals instantly and remain accurate on refresh.
• Cart styling matches current theme guidelines (fonts, spacing, buttons).
• Payment page reliably processes transactions through existing gateways.
• Form validation triggers and displays friendly error messages before submission.
• All code changes documented so I can maintain them after launch.
