"We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications through systematic testing and validation. You will play a critical role in identifying bugs, verifying functionality, and ensuring that the software meets business and technical requirements before release.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute manual test cases based on functional specifications, user stories, and requirements.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing to ensure software meets quality standards.

Identify, document, and track software defects, providing clear steps to reproduce issues and screenshots or recordings when necessary.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and resolve issues.

Review requirements and design documents to ensure test coverage and completeness.

Ensure software meets performance, usability, and security standards.

Report testing progress, results, and quality metrics to management.

Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.

Requirements:

Proven experience in software testing / QA (manual or automated).

Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar).

Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Basic understanding of SQL, APIs, and web technologies is a plus.
