"Several WordPress sites were left half-finished by previous freelancers; the most urgent one loads painfully slowly. I haven’t applied any speed tweaks yet, so you’ll be working on an untouched setup that currently runs a premium theme together with SEO, security and caching plugins.

Your job is to diagnose every bottleneck—whether it stems from the theme code, plugin conflicts, database bloat or server settings—then implement the fixes that bring the site comfortably within Core Web Vitals. Please use whatever toolkit you prefer (GTmetrix, Lighthouse, Query Monitor, WP-CLI, etc.) as long as the end result is a noticeably faster site.

Deliverables
