Project description:"We are Gear Rider, a well-established motorcycle gear brand with a large and loyal customer base, especially in the Bluetooth helmet segment.
We want to build an MVP mobile application that allows riders to communicate over the internet (VoIP), similar to WhatsApp/Discord voice quality, but optimized for motorcycle conditions.
Project Scope (MVP)
Core Feature: Push-to-talk group voice communication over the internet (VoIP).
Platforms: iOS & Android.
Tech Stack: Flutter or React Native + WebRTC (Opus codec).
Audio Requirements:
Wideband audio (16–24 kHz) with Opus adaptive bitrate (16–32 kbps).
FEC + PLC enabled.
Dynamic jitter buffer (60–120 ms).
Stable reconnection <3s when switching between 4G/5G/Wi-Fi.
Optimized noise suppression for wind and engine noise.
Bluetooth Integration:
Support for common motorcycle Bluetooth headsets (Cardo, Sena, generic).
Stable audio routing in HFP mode.
Server:
Self-hosted SFU (LiveKit/mediasoup/Janus) with minimum 2 regions (EU + NA).
TURN/STUN servers included.
UI/UX:
Large, glove-friendly buttons.
Connection quality indicator (latency, jitter, packet loss).
Simple group creation/join.
Deliverables
iOS and Android MVP apps.
Backend & VoIP server setup.
Basic admin dashboard for monitoring.
Documentation for deployment & scaling.
Beta test build for ~100 users.
Source code.
Bonus Payment
We offer an additional $5,000 bonus if:
The app receives 4.5★+ rating in both app stores after 50+ real user reviews.
Latency remains ≤250ms in real road tests.
Crash rate under 0.5%.
Budget
Fixed price: $10,000 for MVP + $5,000 quality bonus.
Timeline: 6–8 weeks.
