Project description:
"I’m building a web-based load board and need a developer who can focus on the driver side of the platform. The core requirement is simple but critical: once a load is posted, a logged-in driver must be able to view it and tap “Accept” to claim it instantly.
Beyond that key workflow, the site should feel modern, responsive, and intuitive on both desktop and mobile so drivers can work from a truck cab or a home office without friction. I already have the general concept and basic UI sketches; your job is to turn them into a functioning front-end and connect it to a lightweight back-end that stores loads, user accounts, and status updates in real time.
Tech stack is flexible—React, Vue, or even a clean Laravel Blade approach is fine—so long as the resulting code is well-structured, documented, and easy to extend later. If you can recommend a real-time database layer (Firebase, Supabase, or socket-ready REST API), even better.
Deliverables
• Responsive driver interface with secure login
• Live load list that refreshes automatically when new freight is posted
• “Accept Load” action that locks the freight to the first driver who claims it and updates status system-wide
• Admin endpoint or dashboard so I can verify loads are created, claimed, and closed correctly
I’ll provide sample load data and branding assets at project start. Clean code, clear commit history, and a quick walkthrough demo will be the acceptance criteria. Let me know your preferred stack and any similar projects you’ve shipped." (client-provided description)
