"Core scope
• Authentication must be email-and-password based with solid API security practices and role-based access control for students and instructors.
• The data model calls for a hybrid approach: relational tables for users, roles, payments, etc., alongside document-style collections for learning modules, progress tracking, and analytics events.
• You may work in Firebase or Supabase; pick whichever stack lets you deliver fast. If you lean toward Firebase, Firestore and Cloud Functions are fine. If Supabase is your choice, Postgres + Edge Functions works for me.
• Build clean, versioned APIs that expose module streaming, user sessions, progress sync, and analytics endpoints. REST is my default, though I’m open to GraphQL if you think it’s the better fit.
• Set up secure file storage plus a CDN path for video delivery.
• Finally, wire up a simple web admin panel so instructors can upload modules, set visibility, and review student progress.

Deliverables
1. Complete backend codebase, fully deployed and linked to either Firebase or Supabase console.
2. Database schema and seed data for initial testing.
3. Documented API endpoints (Postman collection or similar) ready for the iOS team.
4. Admin panel source plus live URL.
