"Summary: Implement a link catalog website using basic PHP and Bootstrap. The website allows logged in users to add their backlinks to a table and get notifications if there are any changes.

Specs:

The website consists of the following pages: front page, login, create account, privacy policy, dashboard, admin dashboard. For visual style, please copy the style from VersionCat.com. The website shall support both dark mode and light mode. This preference is saved to a cookie.

The front page shall contain “lorem ipsum”, and links to create an account and login. There are two user account levels: free and paid. The free account allows adding of 5 links to the catalog, the paid account has no limit. The paid account costs $5 per month, or $50 per year (two months free). Please define all these values (5, 5, 50) in the config php file.

The account creation shall support two options: create account by email address, or via Google Account. Account creation via email address works in a way a unique link is sent to the given email address. When user clicks it, his account is created (if one doesn’t already exist for this email), and then user is logged in and user remains logged in until he clicks logout. There is no password. Note: Logout must log out all instances of this user logged in with any devices.

After user is logged in, he gets directed to the dashboard. In dashboard, there are two sections in one page: links catalog, and add new link.

In links catalog, there is a table with sortable columns with the following columns:
URL, URL Target, Type, Domain Authority, Page Authority, Spam Score

This table lists all the URLs the user has added. To add an URL, user is asked only two things: URL, URL Target. When user enters these, the other values are fetched.

The Domain Authority, Page Authority and Spam Score and fetched using domain-da-pa-checker.p.rapidapi.com. Type will show “Normal” in case the URL’s html content contains an ahref link with the URL Target as its target. Type will display “NoFollow” if the html code contains the link but it has “nofollow” argument. If the link is not detected, then it will display “None” in red.

When a new link is added to the list, the page fetches the URL’s html content. If that fails (i.e. the content contains zero <hX, <p and <span tags, display an error and do not add the link. If user has a free account, there is a limit how many links user can add to this catalog table.

Under the links catalog, there is a settings area with two options, both unchecked by default: Send me a weekly summary of my links every Monday, and Send me a notification if any of my links change.

If Weekly summary is checked, then the content of the links catalog table is sent to the user via email every Monday. If the Send notification option is checked, then user will receive an email if any fields of the links catalog table changes.

The system shall use Cron to recheck the data of each link of each user every 24 hours. Under the catalog links table, it shall say the time and date when these links were last checked.

The table shall also have an option to delete any added link. If used, there shall be an “Are you sure you want to delete this link?” confirmation and the link is removed from the table only after confirmation.

In the admin dashboard, it shall display the links catalog of all users, with table columns clickable and with pagination (100 links per page), and the table shall also contain the user_id number as the first table column.

All the emails sent by the system shall be sent using [login to view URL] email sending system. All the user data shall be added to MySQL database. The project does not include any kind of graphical design." (client-provided description)
