Objective: To build a modern, secure, and scalable online certification and course management
platform with an intelligent admin panel, proctored exams, and real-time analytics.
1. Overview
Orivon Academy aims to provide a seamless platform for students to earn certifications and track
course progress through an interactive and well-managed system.
It will feature a robust admin dashboard for complete control over certifications, users, purchases,
attempts, and courses.
The system will also include a proctored examination module, ensuring fair and monitored
assessments.
2. Key Features
A. Admin Panel
• Analytics Dashboard: Displays overall statistics such as total users, active certifications,
ongoing exams, attempts under review, and revenue overview.
• Users Tab: Shows all registered users, their login activity, and platform access history.
• Certifications Management:
◦ Create, edit, and manage certifications with fields like title, description, duration,
price, and status (active/inactive).
◦ Add and edit exam questions, including marks, options, and correct answers.
◦ Grant direct certification access to any user without requiring payment.
◦ Delete certifications securely with confirmation prompts.
• Purchases Tab: View all certification exam purchases, update payment statuses, or remove
invalid records.
• Attempts Tab: Monitor all exam attempts, change review statuses, or delete attempts if
needed.
• Courses Tab:
◦ Create and manage courses, modules, and lessons.
◦ Assign courses to users and track their progress.
◦ View completion rates and learning activity.
• Audit and Control: Track key administrative actions such as granting certifications,
modifying purchases, or deleting records.
B. Exam & Proctoring System
• Pre-Exam Verification:
◦ Check for camera, microphone, and network connectivity before beginning.
◦ Display clear consent and test success before entering the exam.
• During Exam:
◦ Show the candidate’s camera feed on the top-right corner for self-view.
◦ Disable copy, paste, and right-click functionalities.
◦ Detect tab switching or window changes to prevent cheating.
• Post-Exam:
◦ Automatically mark exam status as “Under Review.”
◦ Stop camera and microphone access immediately after the exam ends.
◦ Allow admin review and scoring before final result release.
C. User Portal
• User registration and secure login.
• Personalized dashboard showing certifications, exams, and courses assigned.
• Purchase and access certifications directly.
• Attempt certification exams with proctoring.
• View exam results and progress reports for courses and certifications.
3. Course Tracking & Management
• Create and structure courses with multiple modules and lessons.
• Define course duration, prerequisites, and activity status.
• Allow users to track progress visually with completion percentages.
• Admin can monitor each learner’s progress, course engagement, and completion rates.
