"Australian Based Website Technical Specialist

We are looking for a website technical resource to be part of our Australian based team.

Our niche market is Australian/New Zealand Small-to-Medium (SME) operations who need their website and related online presence and optimisation to be redeveloped, updated and maintained.

Typically our clients don’t employ a marketing specialist and have outsourced their requirements – whether this is their basic website; ongoing SEO/SEM; social media marketing or more.

Sadly, they’ve been let-down, short-changed, or disappointed with the results.

Some would say ‘ripped off’, and others believe they are held to ransom if they want to make any changes to their online presence. Others are disillusioned as they find their requirements are ‘fronted’ locally but always outsourced to an overseas low-cost environment, with its inevitable implications.

Our business model challenges this approach by offering honest, reliable online marketing strategy and execution and remediation for SME’s in Australia and New Zealand, fronted and executed by local, native English specialists with deep and current understanding of the world of digital marketing.

We are seeking an additional technical resource who can be called in on a casual basis to assist with technical delivery of our requirements, and who is aligned with our principles.

These include:
• English fluency
• Comfortable working withing the Australian Eastern time zone (Sydney, Melbourne)
• Highly competent in managing URL hosting providers; configuring and forwarding domain names; developing new websites in a ‘sandbox’ environment and then moving these to a live environment
• Expert in WordPress and most common plugins
• Highly proficient with Shopify
• Proficient or experienced with other commonly used CMS platforms such as Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Joompla, Magenta, etc

Ideally we are looking for a long-term partner, and not just a short term provider to an immediate project.
