"I need a web-based CRM tailored to the daily workflow of a pest-control company. At its core the system has to let office staff create and update customer records, book recurring or one-off service appointments, and generate invoices— all from the same dashboard.

FreshBooks is our accounting back-end, so the new CRM must push invoices, payments, and customer data to FreshBooks automatically via its API. If the sync fails for any reason, staff should see a clear error message and be able to retry without re-entering data.

Key deliverables
• Customer module: searchable database with service history, notes, and attached files (photos, PDFs, etc.).
• Scheduler: drag-and-drop calendar that shows technician availability, route area, and job duration, with automatic reminders sent by email/SMS.
• Billing & invoicing: one-click invoice creation, tax and discount handling, and batch emailing of PDF invoices, all synced to FreshBooks in real time.
• Admin panel: user roles (office, technician, admin) and basic reporting (sales by period, outstanding balances, job counts).
• FreshBooks integration: secure OAuth connection, two-way sync for customers, invoices, and payments, plus a log of every API call.

Acceptance criteria
1. All listed modules run smoothly in a modern browser without installing extra software.
2. Data entered in the CRM appears in FreshBooks within 60 seconds.
3. A new customer can be added, an appointment scheduled, and an invoice generated in under 3 minutes during a live demo.

Tech stack is flexible—Laravel, Node, Django or similar is fine—as long as you can document the code, provide basic tests, and set up deployment on our existing VPS.
