"I need an Android application that lets field staff point their phone at a handwritten form, have the camera auto-detect the page, clean it up, recognise the English handwriting and immediately turn everything into a neat, multi-page PDF. The first release must handle four kinds of paperwork—work logs, inspection reports, maintenance records and one additional custom form—but the architecture should make it painless for me to add more templates later on.

Once the PDF is generated, a single tap should open the WhatsApp share sheet so the user can forward the file without leaving the app. A simple, self-explanatory interface is essential; these users won’t tolerate hidden menus or long setup screens.

You are free to work in Kotlin or Java, but please rely on proven libraries such as CameraX for capture, ML Kit (Digital Ink Recognition) or an equivalent on-device engine for handwriting detection, and PdfRenderer/iText for assembly. Everything must run offline except the WhatsApp share action.

Deliverables
• Complete Android Studio project with well-commented source
• Release-ready APK for testing on Android 10+ phones
• README covering build steps, third-party libraries and template-addition guide

Acceptance criteria
• App scans each form type, auto-crops and flattens perspective
• English handwriting is legible in the resulting PDF; no missing strokes
• PDF opens correctly in Google Drive viewer and can be shared via WhatsApp from inside the app
• Source compiles without errors in Android Studio Giraffe or newer
