Project description:
"I am building a high-integrity, kernel-level anti-cheat solution and need someone who lives and breathes Windows 内核开发. The cornerstone of the work is a rock-solid, production-ready driver written in C/C++ that follows the WDF/KMDF 驱动模型.
What I must see on day one:
• Proven experience designing or maintaining commercial game security drivers, ideally the kind deployed by EAC, BattlEye, or a major studio.
• Deep fluency with NT 内核 internals—especially 内存管理 and the 对象管理器—so you can recognise and block anything that tries to tamper with protected regions or kernel objects.
• Battle-tested reverse-engineering skills with WinDbg, IDA Pro, and x64dbg; you will spend a good part of your time tracing DLL 注入, 非法内存读写, and 通信篡改 attempts back to their source.
• A portfolio of successful攻防 engagements that demonstrates you can think like a cheater, model emerging threats, and still write code that is ultra-stable on every supported Windows build.
If you have previously shipped defences that bypass unsigned-driver tricks, or you know the ins and outs of Microsoft’s 代码签名 pipeline (and the ways attackers try to skirt it), you will jump to the top of the list. Passion for games and a desire to keep them fair is another huge plus.
Deliverables
1. A KMDF kernel driver with full source, thoroughly commented, compiling cleanly with the latest WDK.
2. A short technical report describing attack vectors covered, how memory and object manager hooks are hardened, and how you verified stability across cold boots, sleep/hibernate cycles, and heavy I/O.
3. Reproduction steps and symbol files so my own team can debug in WinDbg without friction.
I value meticulous code, detailed threat reasoning, and the ability to solve tricky race-condition or paging-IRQL bugs quickly. If that sounds like your everyday workflow, let’s talk." (client-provided description)
