Project description:
"I need an Xcode project template that builds a macOS dynamic library (.dylib) targeting the latest macOS Sequoia SDK and using Apple’s current CoreHID architecture. The library has to expose clearly-named external entry points so that my own app can both read from and write to a custom HID device.
Please structure the template so it opens, builds, and signs cleanly on my machine without additional tweaking. If you prefer Swift, Objective-C, or a mixed setup, that is fine as long as the exported symbols remain C-compatible for easy linking. Be sure to include any entitlements or code-sign settings needed for HID access under Sequoia.
The HID device is a wireless audience response system communicating via USB to a transceiver. macOS recognises it as a generic device. Product ID and Vendor ID available on request. At this stage I can't give specifics on the reporting format but can supply some source code that does the job on Windows for your reference.
Deliverables
• A zipped Xcode project (or .xctemplate) that compiles into a dylib with read/write functions implemented through CoreHID
• A minimal test harness demonstrating successful data transfer with a mock or real HID report
• A short README explaining build steps, exported symbol names, and expected data formats
Acceptance is straightforward: the template must build in Xcode 15 on macOS Sequoia, the test harness must call the exported functions without crashes, and I need to see bytes move in both directions when I attach my device.
If you have completed similar CoreHID work before, this will be quick money; just don’t send an instant, boilerplate bid—show me you read the brief." (client-provided description)
