The goal is a smooth, cashier-friendly system that keeps orders flowing during the lunch rush while giving management a crystal-clear view of inventory, sales trends and staffing.

Core features
• Real-time inventory management with automatic deductions as items are sold
• Clean sales reporting that can be filtered by item, shift or location and exported to CSV/PDF
• Basic employee management—login PINs, role-based permissions and shift tracking

Hardware to talk to from day one: USB/LAN receipt printers, standard barcode scanners and cash drawers. If you have preferred SDKs or past experience with popular models, let me know so we can source compatible units.

Payments we must accept at the counter: credit/debit cards via an integrated gateway, tap-to-pay mobile wallets, and our own branded gift cards. The workflow has to stay snappy even when the line is ten customers deep.

I’ll supply menu data, branding assets and sample gift-card API docs. I need you to deliver:

2. Source code with clear build instructions
3. Driver/config guides for each supported device
4. A quick start manual or video so new staff can learn the register in under ten minutes
