"I’m building an Android app that lets users capture any of our four internal form types, detect the pen-written content on each page, and instantly turn the result into a clean, professional-looking PDF. After the PDF is created, a single tap should open the WhatsApp share sheet with the file already attached so it can be sent without leaving the app.

Camera capture must feel seamless: open the viewfinder, frame the page, and the app should find the borders on its own, correct perspective, brighten the image, and move straight into processing. I’m aiming for intermediate handwriting recognition—good enough that only the occasional character needs manual review—so please rely on something like Google ML Kit, Tesseract, or an equivalent model you are comfortable tuning.

Once all pages of a document are scanned the user hits “Done,” the app compiles them into a multipage PDF, stores it locally, and surfaces the WhatsApp share option. A simple, uncluttered interface that walks the user from scan to share with minimal taps is essential.
