"I have an Ionic mobile app that is live on both Google Play and the App Store (see Android listing: [login to view URL]). It was last released a year ago using npm 8.11, and Google now warns that the binary still ships native libraries compiled for 4 KB pages. If nothing changes, the listing will disappear after 1 November 2025.

Here is what I need:

• Bring the project up to current Ionic/Capacitor standards, identify every native library still built for 4 KB pages, and recompile or swap them so the final APK/AAB fully supports the required 16 KB page size. I have not yet mapped which libs are affected, so discovery is part of the work.
• Resolve any knock-on build or runtime issues you discover during the upgrade—especially anything that would block store acceptance.
• Configure a full CI/CD pipeline on Codemagic. Whenever I push to the master branch with a new version tag, Codemagic should:
– build Android (AAB) and iOS (IPA/TestFlight) artifacts,
– upload them automatically as internal-testing builds to Google Play Console and App Store Connect,
– alert me in Slack or by email on success/failure.
• Verify that the freshly built apps install and run without regressions.
This is important. I. need to update the app , not a revolution. Small changes / updates to make it deployable. App functionality needs to stay the same as it is. All features have to keep working.


I will give you repository access, existing store credentials, and any certificates/profiles you need. The job is complete when a successful Codemagic workflow produces store-ready builds and the Play Console no longer flags the 16 KB warning. Additionally the developer needs to download the current production app / get familiar with it and compare that the new version is working as expected.
