"We are looking for a top-talent solo freelancer (no agencies) to help stabilize and finish two existing iOS apps for an on-demand delivery platform:
• Customer app – alcohol / snacks / grocery–style ordering
• Driver app – order acceptance, pickup, delivery, and status

Both apps are already built in Swift (iOS) and connect to a backend built in PHP Laravel. The codebase is 4+ years old and needs bug fixing, small UX corrections, and integration cleanup to get it ready for real-world testing.

You will be working from detailed Phase 1 bug/UX lists (for both apps) that are already documented from a previous audit. Further details and edge cases can be gleaned directly from these documents, which I will share once we start the discussion.



What we’re looking for
• Solo freelancer only (no agencies / teams)
• Strong experience in Swift iOS development
• Has worked on food ordering, grocery delivery, or similar on-demand apps (please provide links or screenshots)
• Comfortable working with PHP Laravel backend (APIs, validations, bug fixing)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a written scope
• Good communication and willingness to ask clear questions about scope before starting
Please also note:
• Prompt communication is very important. I appreciate freelancers who reply quickly to messages, share progress updates, and ask questions early if something is unclear.
• Faster delivery is appreciated as long as the quality is maintained. If you can realistically complete Phase 1 sooner than your initial estimate without cutting corners, please mention this in your bid.

Phase 1 – Scope (High Level)

Phase 1 focuses on must-have fixes only (no big redesign, no new complex features).

You will:
• Implement all Phase 1 “must-have” items for:
• Customer App – Phase 1 (bug fixes & small UX corrections)
• Driver App – Phase 1 (bug fixes & small UX corrections)
• The tasks include (examples, not exhaustive):
• Fixing crashes and navigation issues
• Correcting sign-up / login / OTP flows
• Fixing cart, quantity, pricing, and checkout behavior
• Validations for forms, card expiry, and error messages
• Cleaning up menu layouts, empty states, toggles, and simple UI issues
• Hooking up existing APIs properly (where API endpoints already exist)

Full detailed task lists are provided in two documents (one for customer app, one for driver app). You must read and understand them before finalizing your quote.

Phase 1 – Required Deliverables

Your quote for Phase 1 must include:
• Implementation of all items in:
1. Customer App – Phase 1 must-have list
2. Driver App – Phase 1 must-have list
• TestFlight builds for each app (Customer + Driver) so we can test on real iPhones
• Basic QA/testing on your side before sharing builds
• Fixing any regressions caused by your changes (within Phase 1 scope)
• Delivery of the updated Xcode projects / source code for both apps at the end of Phase 1
• Backend adjustments in Laravel where required to support the Phase 1 fixes

If anything from the Phase 1 lists is not included in your proposed price or timeline, you must clearly list what you are excluding before we start.

Communication & Scope Clarity

You must:
• Carefully review the Phase 1 documents for both apps
• Ask any questions if something is unclear before accepting the project
• Avoid vague assumptions – we prefer you say:
“I need clarification on point X / screen Y”
rather than guessing and charging extra later

Pricing & Timeline

We are bootstrapping and looking for competitive pricing, but we also value quality and clear communication.

In your bid, please include:
1. Fixed price for Phase 1 only (Customer + Driver apps together)
2. Estimated timeline to complete Phase 1 (we are aiming for around 7–10 days if realistic)
3. Your relevant experience:
• Links or screenshots of food / grocery / delivery apps you built in Swift
• Short note on your Laravel experience
4. Confirmation that your price includes all Phase 1 items and deliverables listed above (plus TestFlight builds and source code handover)

If Phase 1 goes smoothly and you deliver high quality on time, there is potential for ongoing work on Phase 2 (larger feature set, improvements, and possibly a later UI/UX revamp).
