"I need a reliable ExtendScript / JavaScript solution that I can run inside Adobe InDesign. The script will be run across multiple old templates taking that contents and updating into a new format which has a new layout structure and paragraph styles without the need to manually update these.

What the script must do
• Restructure each document to match the new master pages and grid - I just need the script
• Map and replace outdated paragraph/character styles with the new style set
• Swap out placeholder images with the updated artwork held in a single folder (file names stay identical)

Acceptance criteria
• Running the script on any of the five supplied .indd files leaves me with a clean document that validates against the new style definitions and master pages, with all images relinked and no overset text.
• The code is commented clearly enough for a developer familiar with ExtendScript to maintain later.
• A short read-me explains how to install and execute the script in InDesign 2024 on both macOS and Windows.
