"My WooCommerce store suddenly stopped reflecting items after the “Add to cart” button is clicked. The product appears to be added, yet the cart counter, mini-cart and cart page all stay at zero until the page is hard-refreshed. I need this behaviour restored so the cart updates instantly—Ajax or otherwise—across product, shop, cart and checkout pages.

Here’s what I expect:
• you trace the root cause (theme override, outdated template, conflicting plugin, caching rule or session issue)
• apply a clean, future-proof fix in a child theme or custom plugin so core files stay untouched
• confirm the cart updates in real time on desktop and mobile, both logged-in and guest sessions
• test first on staging, then deploy to live after my approval, keeping a full backup
