"I need a clean, reliable API bridge built between my cloud-hosted 3CX instance and our VoIP provider so SMS flows in both directions. My goal is simple: agents must be able to send and receive customer-support texts directly inside the existing 3CX web/desktop chat window—no extra panels or email relays.
Here’s what the finished job looks like to me:
• 3CX and provider credentials connected through REST or the most stable method you recommend.
• Outbound SMS originates from any 3CX user who has permission, shows our main number, and logs automatically in the call/chat history.
• Inbound SMS lands in the same chat thread, triggers the normal 3CX notification, and can be replied to instantly.
• Clear documentation: endpoint URLs, keys, and step-by-step setup notes so I can reproduce this on staging or after updates.
• A live test demonstrating successful send and receive with at least two different agent extensions.
