We’re looking for an exceptional C# backend engineer to work alongside our technical architect — a seasoned C# expert — in building the next generation of high-performance backend services that power our React front-end applications.

This role is ideal for someone who values clarity, architectural rigor, and craftsmanship in their code. You should be passionate about building maintainable systems, understanding complex requirements, and leveraging best-practice patterns (SOLID, clean architecture, domain-driven design where appropriate).

What You’ll Do
- Architect and implement robust, scalable Web APIs in C#/.NET.
- Collaborate closely with our technical architect to design and refine backend systems.
- Work hand-in-hand with React front-end developers to deliver end-to-end product functionality.
- Translate nuanced product requirements into clean, maintainable, production-ready code.
- Use AI tools strategically to accelerate your work without compromising code quality.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and the full SDLC within Azure DevOps.

What We’re Looking For
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and modern .NET — you write clean, well-structured, testable code by default.
- Strong understanding of API design (REST, patterns, security best practices, performance considerations).
- Experience with scalable back-end architectures, asynchronous programming, and cloud-native development.
- Ability to parse and reason about complex business logic, not just implement tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively (for analysis, refactoring, documentation…), combined with disciplined engineering judgment.
- Fluent in English, based in Europe, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
