Project description:
"I need a complete, production-ready point-of-sale system built natively for iOS that fits the day-to-day flow of a busy café. Core workflows must cover front-of-house order taking at the counter or table, seamless kitchen ticket routing, and real-time inventory deductions so stock levels stay accurate without manual intervention. A simple but robust customer loyalty module (points, rewards, quick look-ups by phone or QR) is essential, as is granular user management for staff with role-based permissions and an easy rostering interface to plan shifts. Table management should let me open, merge, and split tabs with a drag-and-drop style layout.
I’m happy to discuss architecture, bmust be an iPad front end, Swift / SwiftUI, and a lightweight cloud back-office (Firebase, Supabase, or similar) so I can monitor sales and inventory remotely. If you have a stronger tech stack in mind, explain why it better suits day-to-day café service and weekend peaks.
To shortlist quickly, please include links or videos of past iOS POS or retail apps you have shipped. Live demo access is even better so I can feel ticket speed, modifier handling, and sync reliability. No generic portfolios—just the work that proves you understand hospitality workflows.
Once we agree on scope, I expect:
• A functional MVP running on my iPad with the modules above enabled
• Documentation for deployment, backups, and adding new menu items
• Source code in a private repo, cleanly commented and ready for future feature work
Hit me with your questions and past work—let’s build a system that keeps the queues moving and the stock counts honest." (client-provided description)
