"I need a lightweight number-prediction game that runs entirely in the browser. Please build it with plain HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript—no frameworks. The flow is simple: the player predicts the next number, the game instantly tells them whether they were right, and a score is tracked across rounds. A clean, responsive interface, smooth keyboard/mouse play, and basic sound or visual feedback on wins or losses will make the experience engaging.

Because I’m hosting it on a standard static server, keep the asset footprint small and avoid external dependencies. Storing the high score locally with localStorage is fine; no back-end work is required.

Deliverables:
