1. Key Generation and Management
Generate an RSA public and private key pair on my web server (GoDaddy) using OpenSSL commands in PHP.

2. PHP Web Hosting (License Generation)
On my web server, a PHP script generates a license file containing the user's information, then digitally signs this data with my private key.

3. C# Desktop Software (License Verification)
In my C# application, the process involves receiving the license file, extracting the data and signature, and using the embedded public key to verify the signature.

Steps:
1. Software contains ONE hard-coded public key
This key belongs to you (the vendor).

2. Each user receives a license file
The license file contains:
user data (name, expiry date, edition, features, machine ID, etc.)
a digital signature created by your private key

3. Software verifies the license using the embedded public key
Since only I have the private key, users cannot forge licenses.

Deliverables
1. PHP script with OpenSSL commands to be added to the existing PHP licensing website.
2. C# verification class to be integrated into the existing software
3. One test license file proving the round-trip works.
