"I have a fully working backend and all the art, sound, and UI assets ready to go—I now need the front-end game layer built in Cocos (Web / HTML5 target). The goal is to reproduce the core look-and-feel of Ludo King for exactly two players, playable in any modern browser and connecting to my existing API endpoints for turns, matchmaking, and stats.
Here is what I expect:
• A single-page Cocos scene that loads my provided boards, tokens, dice, and UI sprites, then wires them to game logic that mirrors the classic Ludo rules for two participants.
• Smooth dice-roll, piece-movement, and simple win animations using Cocos’ native tweening; no extra VFX beyond that.
• Seamless calls to the backend for room creation, real-time state updates, and game completion, following the REST sockets I will share.
• Responsive layout so the game scales cleanly from desktop to mobile browsers without breaking asset proportions.
• Delivery of clean, well-commented JavaScript/TypeScript source, ready for my team to drop into our build pipeline, plus a short read-me that lists any engine version or plug-ins used.
I can supply a postman collection, sample JSON payloads, and every graphic at the correct resolution on day one—so you can focus purely on client-side gameplay and polish. After hand-off, I’ll need a brief walk-through call to confirm everything compiles and runs locally.
