"Senior .NET Developer Needed to Rebuild Paint.NET-Style Application

I need a professional and experienced .NET Desktop developer to fully rebuild my Paint.NET-style Windows application. My previous developer delivered a final working EXE file, but did not commit all source code, so the project cannot be continued. I need a complete rebuild from the beginning.

I will provide three Git repositories:

API documentation repository

pdn-webp SDK source repository

Release version repository (contains only the final EXE)

You will also receive the released EXE of the app, which shows the full behavior and features that need to be rebuilt.

Your task is to review the three repositories and the released EXE, then rebuild the entire application using the .NET Desktop SDK (WPF or WinForms, your recommendation). You must re-implement all features visible in the released version, such as drawing tools, layers, undo/redo, color palette, canvas operations, file import/export including WebP, and any other functions included in the current app.

You must deliver clean, complete, maintainable source code, a full Visual Studio solution, and clear build instructions. Proper architecture is required.

This project requires a senior-level .NET desktop developer with solid experience in WPF or WinForms, graphics or image-processing applications, and the ability to understand and rebuild functionality based on an existing EXE.

Timeline is 2 months. I am open to hourly or fixed-price contracts. Please include your milestone plan, timeline estimate, rate, and examples of similar .NET desktop applications you have built.

You must also confirm that you reviewed the provided repositories and released EXE, and that you are confident you can rebuild the project successfully.
