"I need a full-featured press-release distribution website built from the ground up. The core flow is simple: users sign up with email and password, draft a release in a rich-text editor, pay for an optional single-release upgrade, then track performance through an integrated analytics dashboard.

Authentication
Only traditional email-and-password login is required—no social logins for this first release. Please set it up with secure hashing, salted storage and an intuitive “forgot password” flow.

Distribution & Publishing
Once a release is approved it should publish instantly to a public, SEO-friendly page and push to our external RSS feed. If you already have experience syndicating to newswires or leveraging APIs such as PR Newswire or Business Wire, let me know; the architecture should leave room for those integrations later.

Paid Upgrade
The sole monetisation feature at launch is a “Single Press Release Upgrade.” At checkout the user pays to unlock premium distribution and highlighted placement on the homepage. I’m flexible on the payment gateway—Stripe or PayPal are both fine as long as the solution is PCI-compliant and supports webhooks for status updates.

Analytics
Every user needs a clear snapshot of how their content performs:
• User engagement tracking (views, clicks, and CTR)
• Press-release performance metrics (top referrers, geographic spread)
• Real-time reporting with refresh intervals under 60 seconds

Tech Stack & Hosting
Open to PHP/Laravel, Node/Express, or Django—as long as the code is clean, documented, and easy for another developer to extend later. The site will initially run on a modest VPS, so keep performance in mind and cache wisely.
