"I'm looking for an experienced Wix developer to create a highly customizable marketplace.


SLOSH MVP 1 Developer Brief (Wix + Velo)

Project Overview:
Build a web-first MVP of Slosh, a global platform for discovering real-life local experiences and events. Users browse experiences/events on a single page (homepage = Discover page + filters). Users do not sign up/in. Clicking a listing takes them to that listing page All user-facing functionality is simple and minimal for MVP 1.

Curator Functionality: (curators are the venues or people adding events/entertainment listings)

* Curators can sign up, log in, and manage a basic profile.
* Curators see a dashboard with past and upcoming events.
* Curators can add new events/listings or delete existing ones.
* Curators cannot edit listings once submitted.
* Curators must be subscribed to Slosh Premium to add listings; if subscription expires, all active listings are automatically hidden. Non-subscribed curators can still delete their account. Subscription is £9.99 per month or equivalent if user is abroad and using a foreign currency.

Event/Experience Listing Requirements:

* Fields (all mandatory): title, description, image, category, tags, ticket type (free/paid), external link (tickets or other), additional info (pet friendly, 18+, etc.), start & end date + time, recurring or one-off, location.
* Events automatically delete after end date unless recurring is selected.

Filters for Users (MVP 1):

* Category - e.g, music, food, dance...
* Sort by price low to high
* Location radius

Logic Requirements:

* Voucher code: `EARLYSLOSH6` for first 1000 curators who sign up, they get 6 months free premium before we start billing them to help with acquisition.
* Stripe subscription integration for curators memberships.
* Reports: Users can flag listings; flagged listings are visible to admin (me) for review but are not auto-deleted.
* Dynamic pages for listings pulled from CMS.

Design & Branding:

* Cinematic, magical, authentic, minimalist.
* Mobile and desktop responsive.
* Branding, colours, fonts, and style guide can be provided.
* CTA on homepage: Stop doomscrolling — start living. Underneath should be a big search bar where they can search and a location input part. They can start browsing without searching a key word but they must input a location to start browsing.

Additional Requirements:

* Privacy policy, T&Cs, onboarding ect copy, and SEO setup.
* Fully maintainable by non-coder (easy to update CMS, add listings, update text/images).

Deliverable:
A fully functional Slosh MVP 1 in Wix + Velo with simple, clean UI, fully integrated subscription logic, dynamic listings, filters, dashboards, and admin reporting.
