"I want to develop my own chess platform for my online academy, with virtual chess classrooms and built-in payment and subscription management.

What I need in this first version (MVP):

Chess virtual classroom

Real-time interactive chessboard between coach and students.

All participants must see the moves at the same time.

Chess tools: move pieces, upload and save PGN, draw arrows, highlight squares, add variations and comments.

Integrated text chat.

Video call integration (for example, embedded Jitsi or Zoom, or a similar solution).

At the end of the class, the system should save at least the PGN of what was covered.

Video recording can be left for phase 2.

Student and group management

Create groups/courses (for example: Kids, Intermediate, Talents, Elite, etc.).

Assign students to each group.

Teacher panel with student list, attendance, and access status.

The teacher should be able to send tasks/exercises (for example, studies or PGN files for the student to solve).

Payments and subscription integration

Create subscription plans (monthly, quarterly, yearly, and different access levels).

Integrate payment gateways such as Stripe and, if possible, also PayPal and/or Mercado Pago (I mainly work with students in Mexico and Latin America).

Handle recurring payments (subscriptions), cancellations, and reactivations.

Admin panel where I can see who is up to date with their payments and basic revenue statistics.

Manage users with different roles: admin, teacher, and student.

Configure basic site texts (terms and conditions, messages, etc.).

What I am looking for in the freelancer or team:

Full-stack developer with experience in real-time web applications (WebSockets, [login to view URL] or similar).

Experience integrating payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).

Ideally, but not mandatory: previous experience with chess projects (chessboard, [login to view URL], Stockfish) or e-learning / classroom platforms.

The goal is to build a long-term relationship to keep improving the platform in future phases (more training tools, advanced student statistics, integration with other chess platforms, etc.).
