"My Shopify store currently serves as a homepage of the company and only contains static contents; we are planning to add automated emails that help streamline our existing auction-based sales operation, which is being performed offline. I have an RFP ready for you with exact requirements, and a few CSV sample files that are needed to implement the features.

The core job is to build the following event-driven emails inside Shopify:

• Bid confirmation – fires immediately after a bid is logged
• Bid award/reject notification – sent when the admin uploads bid results

Code must sit cleanly inside the current theme, rely on Shopify’s API or webhooks, and respect liquid templating best practices. I’m not tied to any email service yet; if you prefer Mailchimp, SendGrid, or a simple SMTP setup, outline why in your approach and include any extra configuration steps." (client-provided description)
