Scope of work
• Contribute production-ready code and accompanying unit tests focused on performance.
• Participate in peer reviews and daily stand-ups to keep the team aligned.
• Help set up benchmarks, profiling scripts, and CI/CD gates that enforce the performance budget.
• Provide concise documentation so future contributors can ramp up without friction.

Acceptance criteria
• Benchmarks show the agreed-upon throughput or latency targets on reference hardware.
• No critical regressions introduced during feature additions.
• Code passes automated test and lint suites on every merge.
