1. Define the Application
- Purpose: What problem will your app solve?
Medication reminder and Tracking. Increase compliance of patients having a tool to remind their medications. Patients will store all their current medications in one place when going to the Hospital, specialist, primary care physician, and home health nurses to perform medication reconciliation easily and conveniently.
- Features: List of core functionalities
• Add meds: name, strength, form, instructions, start/end, PRN, taper/cycle.
• Schedules: fixed times, every N hour, days-of-week, dose windows, travel/time-zone aware.
• Reminders: local + push, pre-dose alerts, snooze, persistent until action, missed-dose logic.
• Tracking: mark taken/skipped/late, partial doses, notes, side effects, photos.
• Refill: remaining pills, depletion forecast, refill reminders, pharmacy info.
• Inventory: auto-decrement on “taken,” manual adjustments.
• Adherence
