"I’m putting together a full-feature mobile platform that blends the best of Instagram’s social feed with YouTube’s long-form video experience. The end product must ship on both iOS and Android, and I’m happy for you to choose the most efficient cross-platform stack—Flutter, React Native or native builds—so long as performance is solid and video playback is flawless.

Core scope
• Feed that supports photos and short clips, endless scroll style
• Reels section for vertical, swipe-able micro-videos
• Long-video player with scrub, quality select, and mini-player similar to YouTube
• Ephemeral stories (24 h) with stickers, text, and swipe-up links
• User profile pages with follow/subscribe logic
• Push notifications throughout the app
• Real-time messenger chat (1-to-1 and group)
• Copyright claim system: on upload we need fingerprinting or at least an MD5/metadata match plus a dispute workflow
• In-app ad slots tied into SpotX / Magnite SDKs
• AWS S3 storage for all media, with automatic upload, transcoding, thumbnail generation, and adaptive streaming outputs (HLS or DASH)
• Admin web console to moderate content, manage users, review claims, and control ad inventory
• REST/GraphQL APIs powering everything, documented in Swagger/Postman

Authentication & onboarding
Users will sign in with their existing social accounts—no email-password or phone flow. I’m open to whichever providers you recommend so long as the integration feels seamless.

Tech notes
– I already have an AWS account ready for IAM roles, S3 buckets, CloudFront and Lambda functions.
– Feel free to leverage FFmpeg, AWS Elemental MediaConvert or any proven pipeline for compression and multi-bitrate renditions.
– Chat can run on Firebase, Stream, or a custom socket service; whichever gives us message status and typing indicators.

Deliverables & acceptance criteria
1. Source code for mobile apps, backend, and admin panel in a private repo.
2. One-click deployment scripts (Docker or CI) for staging and production.
3. Postman collection or GraphQL schema with working endpoints.
4. Test flight / internal track builds proving: upload → encode → publish flows, ad calls rendering, notifications and chat working end-to-end.
5. Short hand-off guide so an in-house team can maintain it later.
