"I need a full-stack solution that lets people connect with friends online through any modern web browser. The scope covers everything—from UX mock-ups and responsive front-end screens to the back-end APIs, real-time services, and the underlying database schema.

Core goals
• Personal-connections focus: the tone, flows, and privacy settings should feel similar to a close-knit friends network rather than a corporate or hobby hub.
• Single-page web application, desktop and mobile responsive. No native iOS or Android work is required at this stage.
• Three priority features must ship on day one:
1. User profiles (avatar, bio, basic privacy controls)
2. Friendship system (requests, accepts, blocks, unfriends)
3. Real-time or near real-time private messaging between friends

Tech expectations
I’m open to the exact stack, but a modern approach such as React/Vue + Node/Express or Django + REST, paired with Postgres or MySQL, will keep maintenance straightforward. Please include socket or push support for messaging and a clean API layer so a future mobile app can plug in without rewriting core logic.

Acceptance criteria
• All three core features operate smoothly in the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, both desktop and mobile viewports.
• Secure authentication (email or social login) with hashed passwords and token-based sessions.
• Source code pushed to a private Git repo with clear setup instructions and seed data scripts.
• Basic test coverage for critical user flows (sign-up, add friend, send message).
• Deployed demo on a cloud host (Heroku, Render, or similar) so I can click through the experience end-to-end.
