"I run several live PHP projects powered by CodeIgniter and I’m ready to bring a dedicated developer on board full-time, paid hourly. Work starts right away—there’s no buffer time—so you’ll dive straight into the codebase on day one.

Your day-to-day will revolve around three core duties: building brand-new modules and entire applications from scratch when business needs arise, keeping existing systems humming with regular updates and refactors, and jumping on any bugs or performance issues the moment they appear. Clean, well-documented code, thoughtful Git commits, and clear daily progress notes are non-negotiable.

You should be fully comfortable with the usual stack—PHP 7/8, CodeIgniter 3 or 4, MySQL/MariaDB, Git, and basic front-end touches (Bootstrap or similar) for quick UI tweaks. If you can automate deployments or write unit tests along the way, even better.

This is a long-term, steady arrangement: 40 hours each week, tracked by the hour, collaborating through Slack, Trello, and GitLab.
