"I’ve already built a character-creation platform that mints unique heroes, mounts, and companions on-chain. Now I’m ready to turn this generator into a living RPG and I need a full-stack game developer who feels at home in React, [login to view URL], Node.js, and smart-contract–driven asset systems.

First milestone: a robust trading system for our on-chain items. Players must be able to list, bid, and swap their heroes and equipment seamlessly inside the game client; off-site marketplaces shouldn’t be required.

Once trading works, I want to layer in meaningful stats and progression, followed by turn-based PvE combat. The combat should accommodate skill-based abilities with cooldowns, dynamic terrain and environmental modifiers, and multiple enemy archetypes each powered by its own AI routine. If you have experience balancing these elements so they feel fair yet challenging, that’s a huge plus.

On the frontend you’ll extend the existing React interface and weave in Phaser scenes for exploration and battle. On the backend you’ll expose secure Node.js endpoints, index blockchain events, and keep player data in sync with our contract state. Smart-contract tweaks may be needed, so fluency with solidity-style code reviews and upgrades is important.

Deliverables for the initial engagement:
• In-client asset trading module fully integrated with our current wallet flow
• Clean, documented API endpoints and contract hooks supporting the trade logic
• A short technical hand-off explaining how new item types can be added to the marketplace
