"I need an Android application, ready for Google Play, that lets me create professional invoices in seconds. The workflow is straightforward: select or create a customer, pull saved items from an internal catalogue, adjust quantities, and the app produces a clean invoice showing customer details, an itemized list, and payment terms.

A searchable invoice history is essential so I can reopen or resend any document later. I also want the ability to swap between a few customizable invoice templates; being able to edit those template files myself after delivery is more important than an in-app designer, so feel free to keep colours and logo placeholders hard-coded for now.

Please build with standard Android tooling (Kotlin or Java in Android Studio). Persist data locally with Room/SQLite, and generate PDFs with a reliable open-source library such as iText. The interface should follow basic Material guidelines—clean, fast, and touch-friendly.

Deliverables
• Source code and a brief README explaining how to edit the template files and rebuild
• Signed APK and universal AAB ready for Play Store upload
• Simple test data set (one customer, a few items) to demonstrate saving and history
