Project description:
"I want to launch a clean, uncluttered site that introduces me as an independent consultant, board member, speaker and author while also serving as the launchpad for my upcoming book. Visitors should be able to move effortlessly between my professional offerings and the book page without feeling they have entered two different sites.
Design & feel
The style I’m after is minimalistic and clean—think the look and flow of [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] and marcelamanjarrez.com. White space, clear typography and straightforward navigation matter more to me than flashy effects.
Core structure
• About
• Book
• Speaking
• Consulting
• Posts / Blog
Contact Tab
The Book section is time-sensitive. Pre-sales open this December, and the publication date is 03/31/26. I need an easy-to-update landing page that first hosts a prominent pre-order link and later swaps to an Amazon purchase link with no redesign.
I don’t expect frequent content changes beyond an occasional blog post, so a lightweight, well-supported CMS (WordPress, Webflow or something equally simple) should do the trick. Mobile responsiveness, SSL and basic SEO setup are must-haves.
Deliverables
• Fully responsive six-section site matching the minimal aesthetic
• Dedicated book page with switchable pre-order / Amazon purchase link
• Simple blog function for posts
• Contact or inquiry form for speaking and consulting
• Brief hand-off guide so I can handle minor text updates myself
If you’ve built similar author–consultant sites and can keep the design lean while still looking polished, let’s talk." (client-provided description)
